Families First News

Front page - Welcome

Welcome to our latest newsletter

Dear partners and colleagues,

We hope you enjoy reading the latest edition of the Families First News. We have an update on the recent organisation changes within the Intensive Family Support Teams  an overview of Services for Young People and much more.

We are nearing the end of a recent round of district Families First Partnership group meetings and again we are seeing these groups get stronger and more informative with new attendees joining at each meeting. The partnership groups are a great way to connect and hear about other early help support services in your area, so it may be worth checking if your service is represented. Please email familiesfirst.support@hertfordshire.gov.uk should you like more information on the groups.

We have also just had a new Families First Portal Card printed and are getting these out to services to pass on to families to promote self help. Please all ensure your service is listed and kept up-to-date on the directory by checking here. If you would like to receive a supply of the cards to pass on to families, please email familiesfirst.support@hertfordshire.gov.uk.

Don't forget to keep your eye on our grants page that we host on the professionals area of the Families First portal along with our Workforce Development page also on the portal.

We hope you enjoy this edition of Families First News and please encourage your teams to sign up to receive their own copy!

As always, please do let us have your comments and suggestions for what you would like included in future editions by emailing familiesfirst.support@hertfordshire.gov.uk.

Happy reading!

Kind regards
The Development Team
