Families First News

Welcome

Dear Partners,

Families First Awards 2023!

The only way to start this edition is to say a massive congratulations to all our worthy winners of the Families First Awards 2023. We had a lovely afternoon of celebrations at the South Hill Centre in Hemel Hempstead, with awards given in 11 different categories and we were pleased to be joined by Cllr Fiona Thomson, Executive Member, Children, Young People & Families and El Mayhew, Director of Children & Families, Children's Services who opened the event with welcome speeches.

You can read more about the event, see photos and view the winners here.

Other News

Again there's lots of news to share in this month's edition. Read more about Hertfordshire celebrating 10 Years since the launch of the Supporting Families Programme and view our blog post on Gov.uk. We're asking managers and practitioners to give their input into the Early Help System Guide assessment by completing a short survey along with lots of useful news to share

You may have noticed that our brand has had a bit of a colour refresh, moving away from the deep contrasting colours and at the same time ensuring it meets accessibility guidance. Our logo and links all remain the same and we hope you like the new look :-)

Please encourage your teams to sign up to receive their own copy and do let us have your comments and suggestions for what you would like included in future editions by emailing familiesfirst.support@hertfordshire.gov.uk.

Thank you for reading,

Kind regards
The Development Team
