Families First News

Front page - Welcome

Welcome

Dear Partners,

Welcome to the February edition of our newsletter for Hertfordshire's early help professionals! As always, we have lots of partnership news to share with you all.

New digital Early Help handbook

Before you dive into the articles, we would like to invite you to download our new early help digital handbook. This handy one page infographic gives links to the main Families First pages and links to many key resources.

It's a work in progress so we are happy to receive any suggestions to further improve the resource.

Working Together in Early Help Events

Our Working Together in Early Help events have been taking place across the county. Attendance has been very good and we have had some thoroughly informative presentations from CGL drug and alcohol support, OneYMCA/DASH, Young Carers, Reducing Parental Conflicting and the Target Parenting Framework, plus some local services.

If you missed these events, there is still one more event taking place on Thursday 27th February 2025 10am-1pm Three Rivers Council, Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth WD3 1RL - you can book your place here.

Finally, don't forget to take a look through our Learning and Development articles to see what is available for you and your teams. Along with our local news pages and vacancy page.

We hope you enjoy this edition of Families First News and please encourage your teams to sign up to receive their own copy!

As always, please do let us have your comments and suggestions for what you would like included in future editions by emailing familiesfirst.support@hertfordshire.gov.uk.

Kind regards

The Development Team
